Secondary Magic Schools

You can initiate into any number of Secondary Magic schools, however, your Elemental Magic schools cannot go any higher than Circle 4.

Prerequisites

  • Must have Circle 2 learned with 3 spells in both elements.

  • Must have Rituals 2 learned.

  • Must have 15 Mana.

  • Must have a Master Level Caster initiate you into the Secondary School.  This may involve a Quest of Skill.

You can only initiate into one Tertiary Magic School.  You can initiate into any number of Secondary Magic schools still, however,  your Elemental Magic schools and Secondary Magic Schools cannot go any higher than Circle 4.

Supernal, Prismatic, Tempest, Glacial, Necromancy, Infernal, Technomancy, Pyroclast

  • Must have Circle 3 learned with 3 spells in all three elements.

  • Must have Rituals 3 learned.

  • Must have 20 Mana.

  • Must have a Master Level Caster initiate you into the Tertiary School.  This may involve a Quest of Legends.

Totemic Magic

Whispers of a spiritual magical source come up in almost every folklore across Othonia.  Totemic Magic occurs naturally throughout the world, where one can call upon the powers of a being of nature.  

This type of magic exists outside of the elemental plane, and can only be discovered by actively seeking it out in play through research, investigation, role-play, etc.  Each Totem will have different requirements to learn their magics, and different requirements for gaining ranks.  If you are able to successfully make contact with your Totem, they will task you with what you must do to gain favor.  Additionally, you must petition your Totem for training once the prerequisite EXP and tasks have been completed.

Packet colors will be white, where applicable.

New Players cannot begin game with Totemic Magic.  All Totems and thus Totemic Magic are FOIP.

Exp Costs:
Advancement MUST be approved of through Role-play, similar to raising your Magic Circle.

Level 1: 10 EXP
Level 2: 15 EXP
Level 3: 20 EXP
Level 4: 25 EXP
Level 5: 30 EXP

By choosing to undergo this path, you will gain certain abilities, and have passive requirements to stay on the path and fulfill your duties and respects to your Totem.
