Reputation

Savage, brutal, and yet cunning, just some of the things said about those attuned to the jungle in which they live. Never before had any people shown such raw intensity in battle. To them war seems spiritual and they fight with unholy power and destruction.

History

The stories are all the same: the young are sent out when they are tall enough to hold a staff, and are armed only with this simple wooden cudgel, into the jungle they travel, not to return until they made their first kill. No one is to aid the young and if they perish they simply were meant to feed the jungle. Those that return are taught the ways of the Jungle, but even more, they are taught to feel and become part of the life of the Jungle.

Abilities

Level 1 - Initiate 

Jaguar's Claw (attack, contact, strike) - adds damage to a normal strike (adds to base damage of weapon)
Tagline: "Vital Strike X". (see the Vital Strike description for progression at higher levels).

Cochotl's Talons (defense, non-contact, parry) - Prevents one attack that lands on the user, or an ally within 5 feet.
Tagline: "Parry"

 

Level 2 - Apprentice

Twisting Vine (attack, strike) - Your strikes are used to writhing around the strikes of your enemies like jungle vines, allowing you to twist your enemies' weapons in their hands. Your opponent must spend 3 seconds recovering their grip on their weapon before they can use it again.
Tagline: "Fumble"

Anaconda's Gaze (defense, point and click, mind effect) - Like the golden eyes of an anaconda, you may mesmerize your opponent by slowly waving a golden object or weapon back and forth in front of them. Lasts until the user stops waving their weapon, takes another action, or the target is struck.
Tagline: "Natural Mesmerize"

 

Level 3 - Devotee

Sun Blade (attack, strike) - Your weapons are capable of harnessing the light of the sun to dazzle your foes, leaving them unable to properly defend themselves. Stun effects last for one minute.
Tagline: "Stun Strike X"

Solar Flare (defense, self) When struck you harness the sun's rays you have managed to trap within your weaponry to blind your foe, protecting yourself from further harm.
Tagline: "Triggered Natural Blindness"

 

Level 4 - Master

Entangle (attack, strike) - Vines shoot forth from your weapon and up from the ground, holding your opponent fast.
Tagline: "Entangle"

Jungle Step (defense, self) - You are able to move stealthily through the trees. Works exactly as the Woodsman skill Forest Blend.
Tagline: "Forest Blend"

 

Level 5 - Grand Master

The Sun's Ire (attack, strike) - You focus the very power of teh Sun itself through your blade, lashing out a firey inferno on your opponent that reduces them to ash. Because this is a Natural fire, it is not stopped by magical wards.
Tagline: "Natural Incinerate"

Call the Hunt (defense, voice effect) - You call out in primal rage, striking fear into the hearts of all but the most brave.
Tagline:  “Voice Effect Greater Fear”
