Ocean's Fury

Preferred Weapon: Short or Long Sword and Round Shield, Polearm or Spear

The Ocean's Fury attack as swift and sudden as the rip tide. Always in motion they seem to flow through combat rather than to battle against it. Like a ship caught in a maelstrom so are their enemies often destroyed.


The Ocean's Fury are often called so serve with the Maerisiusian navy, they fight beside the Pyrallian forces as almost equals. Where the Pyrallian are the tip of the sword, The Ocean's Fury are often seen as the shield arm. To believe that however, is to court disaster for they have fought in every major war known and their skills have come from hard training and a long days studying the wars of old.


Level 1 - Initiate

Force of the Ocean (attack, contact, strike) - adds damage to a normal strike (adds to base damage of weapon)
Tagline: "Vital Strike X". (see the Vital Strike description for progression at higher levels).

Crashing Wave (defense, non-contact, parry) - Prevents one attack that lands on the user, or an ally within 5 feet.
Tagline: "Parry"


Level 2 - Apprentice

Undertow (attack, strike) - You sweep the legs out from under your opponent, sending them to their knees for 10 seconds before they can rise again on a three-count.
Tagline: "Falldown"

Sandblast (defense, point and click, self) - You throw sand in the eyes of your opponent.
Tagline: "Blind"


Level 3 - Devotee

Siren's Call (attack, point and click) - Your song keeps your enemy unable to act, making them defenseless to you for one minute.
Tagline: "Natural Stun"

Shadow of the Water (defense, self) - opponents weapons pass through your body as if you were the water itself, may call "Pass Through - No Effect" to any one strike.
Tagline: "Pass Through - No Effect"


Level 4 - Master

Riptide (attack, voice effect) - a wave radiates out from you, striking all those around you and sweeping them off their feet.
Tagline: “Voice Effect, Natural Knock Down”

Current (defense, self) - With the speed of rushing water, you are able to move with great speed. lasts 1 minute then fall down gasping for breath.
Tagline: “Haste"


Level 5 - Grand Master

Shadowtide (attack, strike) - Your strike fills your opponent's lungs with water. For the next minute they choke painfully, unable to use any skills, then they fall dead.
Tagline: “Natural Drown”

Tangled Rigging (defense, voice effect) - Ropes do your bidding, either springing to life if they are alreday nearby, or appearing if they are not, and entangle those who you consider your enemy.
Tagline: "Voice Effect, Enemy Entangle"
